Rapper Azealia Banks launched into a Twitter rant against Zayn Malik – and immediately began trending worldwide.

The feud seemingly started when the 24-year-old suggested the former One Direction star had copied her Yung Rapunxel video, sharing the below photo of some similarities on her Instagram.

Zayn, who quit the X Factor-formed band after five years in March last year, then appeared to respond to the accusations with some tweets apparently aimed at Banks.

This didn’t go down too well with the 212 singer who then launched into a vile Twitter rant against the Malik.

She has been criticised for “racist, homophobic and xenophobic” language, with Banks using words like ‘p–i’, ‘f—-t’ and ‘curry scented b—h’ in the rant.

“USA IS ABOUT TO TEACH YOU WHO NOT TO F–K WITH!!,” she wrote in a series of foul-mouthed tweets.

“When your entire extended family has been obliterated by good ol’ the U.S of A will you still be trying to… Act like a white boy pretending to be black?

“Do you understand that you are a sand n—-r who emulates white boys’ renditions of black male hood?

“Do you know how lost and culture less [sic] you are?”

Azealia previously caused controversy on Twitter with a series of graphic tweets against Sarah Palin – over what turned out to be a made-up news story.

She later apologised to Palin “for any emotional distress or reputational scarring I may have caused” when the former governor of Alaska threatened to sue the rapper.

Banks is also known for her long-standing feud with the Australian rapper Iggy Azalea.
